St. Kilian, Signature Edition One

Origin: Germany

Alcohol content: 45%


During production, pure barley malt meets real Scottish stills and, in connection with storage in ex-bourbon (37%), rum (37%), PX sherry (18%), chestnut (5%) and small ex -Bourbon casks (3%), a smooth and balanced single malt was created.

Im Aroma zeigt er süssliche Fruchtnoten von Birnen und karamellisierten Äpfeln sowie Malz und Getreidenoten. Im Geschmack überzeugt der St. Kilian mit einem Mix aus Frucht und Gewürzen. Der St. Kilian Signature Edition One wird ungefärbt und nicht kühlgefiltert mit 45.0% vol. abgefüllt.

Aroma: Starts sweet and fruity with notes of pears and candied apples. In addition, malt, grain and notes of toffee.

Taste: Soft and mildly fruity, then a balanced spiciness and a malty finish

Tullibardine 500 Sherry Finish,

Der Tullibardine 500 Sherry Finish reifte in Ex-Bourbon Fässern bevor er in 500 Liter Sherry-Butts sein namengebendes Finish erhielt. Der Whisky erlangte dadurch sein charakteristisches Aroma und eine wunderbar dunkle Bernstein-Färbung. Toffee, Vanille und fruchtige Noten beschreiben das komplexe Aroma am Besten. Sehr genussvoll.

Hyde Single Grain Irish Cask Strength

Origin: Ireland

Alkoholgehalt: 59%


Hyde Cask Strength 8 Year Old is a powerful Irish whiskey with spicy notes. The limited edition grain whiskey was distilled three times by Alan Hyde and then matured in bourbon casks for 8 years and finally bottled at 59% cask strength. Hyde Cask Strength 8 Year Old can be enjoyed neat or with a splash of water.

Nose: Crème brûlée, apricots and citrus fruits with warm notes of chocolate and honey

Taste: Velvety texture like caramel pudding with orange blossom honey and fruity plums. Malty aroma

The Glenturret,12y Scotch Single Malt Whisky

Origin: Scotland

'By hand & by heart' is the Glenturret ethos and the 12 year old whiskey pays homage to that. This is a whiskey shaped by European oak casks. Slowly, with every step of the small manual production processes, they have given it the soul that characterizes Glenturret, just like the many hands that have helped us in life, these oak casks give the whiskey, slowly

its unmistakable character.

The taste is not too strong, but ennobling and evolving. It has a rich, multi-layered flavor complexity and a deep rust color. It is bottled at 46% ABV, has a natural color and is non-chill filtered. Rich fruit cheese, with walnuts, sweet apple and ginger are balanced with lime tea and the European oak cask supports the whiskey for the selected strength.


Tasting Notes

Taste: Notes of dried fruits and spices harmonize wonderfully with tones of vanilla and caramel. Ginger and malt sugar, oak notes with sultanas and cinnamon.

Finish: Soft and creamy

Elements of Milk & Honey

Origin: Israel

Alcohol content: 46%


M&H Elements Sherry Cask is the first single malt from kosher sherry casks. These were specially saturated with Oloroso and PX Sherry for the Israeli distillery in Jerez, Spain. M&H is the first whiskey distillery in Tel Aviv, Israel. Whiskey has been produced there in a pot still from Germany since 2015. The ripening conditions in the Israeli climate are particularly good.


Tasting Notes

Aroma: Reichhaltige rote Früchte, sanfte Eichentöne, Karamell und Zitronenfrische.

Taste: A slightly fruity sherry sweetness with luscious fruits and dark chocolate. Light oak notes follow.

Finish: Long lasting notes of dark chocolate followed by tobacco and oak.

Seven Seals, Peated Double Wood Finish

Herkunft: Schweiz

Alcohol content: 58.7%


This cask strength Seven Seals Peated Double Wood Single Malt Whiskey has complex strong peat smoke aromas on the nose with light floral notes accompanied by aromas of raisins and sultanas.

Intense malt and green barley follow on the palate, which are accompanied by earthy peat, cinnamon and a hint of silky honey.

This taste experience lasts surprisingly long until it fades away.

Blended Malt 1999

AD Rattray's Spoon Man is a blend distilled on July 7, 1999 and aged in a Bourbon Hogshead (#2129) until May 22, 2019. One of only 259 bottles, bottled at 59.1% cask strength.

Duke Kentucky, Straight Bourbon Whiskey

The "John Wayne" of bourbon whiskeys! Artisanally and traditionally distilled in small batches and aged in new handmade heavily burned oak casks.

A handpicked selection of 5 to 10 year old casks is combined to create the original The Duke flavor as described by John Wayne in his tasting notes when he made a

planned his own distillery. The 44% Alc./Vol. correspond to the .44 caliber of his Winchester.


Tasting Notes

Nose: pleasant sweetness with a subtle note of wood, roasted nuts, leather, hint of vanilla, nutmeg, traces of spices,

Toffee and crème caramel.

Macardo, Spez Port Fass

This unique Swiss single malt comes from "good old Switzerland" or more precisely from Strohwilen in Thurgau. Produced in a "small batch process" - from pure Thurgau barley malted according to a secret recipe - our Macardo Single Malt.


Luminous copper tone. Notes of sugar cane, ripe fruit, dried lemon peel, vanilla and caramel. Due to a hint of spices and dried grapes, it underlines the sweet and juicy taste. Everything is wonderfully complex, fruity and slightly wood-smoky. In addition, subtle roasted notes give it a characteristically rustic look. The long-lasting finish is also spicy, with roasted aromas and an elegant sweetness in the background, truly complex and flavorful.

Benriach 2006, 15y Long Valley Selection

Origin: Scotland

Like every selected cask from the LongValley Selection, this bottling also has its own special character. This single malt Scotch whiskey comes from the Benriach distillery in the Speyside region. A wonderfully soft distillate, which was allowed to store in a 1st fill port cask for 15 long years. This port pipe not only gave the whiskey its wonderfully intense colour, but also wonderful fruity and sweet notes, which are powerful and conquer the palate from the first sip. A typical "old school" port whiskey, beautifully strong and distinctive. The capacity of the barrel is 650 liters, resulting in 780 bottles.

Swiss Single Malt Whisky, Old Crow

Herkunft: Schweiz

The Langatun Old Crow is the newest baby in the Langatun family. It is a smoky, peaty whiskey. The gesture malt of this single malt whiskey is specially smoked with peat. This means that during the malting process, the barley is dried with smoke from burnt peat, which absorbs the smoke aroma, which then gives the finished whiskey its wonderful smokiness. The Langatun Old Crow is one of the first whiskeys in Switzerland - indeed one of the first whiskeys on the European mainland - to be produced using this process. The «Old Crow» Langatun has a beautiful amber color with reddish nuances. A treat for lovers of fine peaty and smoky whiskies.

Heavans Door Straight Rye

Herkunft: USA

Heaven's Door Whiskey are made in the traditional way in collaboration with Bob Dylan.

Stored for 6 years in new American oak barrels and then refined for 6 months in a cigar barrel. French oak from the Vosges brings a sweetness to the spicy rye profile for a totally unique flavor.


Tasting Noes

Nose: herbs, apple and citrus fruits,

mint and oak.

Gaumen: Mit Honig überzogenes Marzipan, frisch geschnittenes Gras, Fenchel, Dill. Nelke, Zimt, schwarzer Pfeffer und Orangenschalen. Kamille und Zedernholz. Vanille-Toffee, nasses Holz, Schokoladenkekse, ein Hauch von Mango und ein Hauch von weißem Pfeffer.

Bushmills 10 Y Irish Single Malt

Origin: Ireland

Alcohol content: 40%


1608 erhielt die Old Bushmills Brennerei die weltweit erste Lizenz zum Destillieren von Whiskey. Kennzeichnend für die „Old Bushmills" Distillery ist, daß sie zu den wenigen gehört, wo die Destillation, das Vermählen und das Abfüllen noch unter einem Dach erfolgen. Nach irischer Tradition 3 Fach Destilliert vereinigt dieser Whisky die Samtigkeit am Gaumen mit klaren Fruchtaromen und endet in enem mittellangen Abgang. Ein Genuss ihn geniessen zu können.


Tasting Notes

Geruch: Gekochte Banane und tropische Früchte. Gaumen: Guave, Cantaloupe-Melone, überreifer weißer Pfirsich, Vanille und Schalen. Abgang: Blumiger, würziger Abgang.

Nose: Reminiscent of a stay at the sea

Hazelburn 10 Y, Single Malt

Origin: Scotland

Alcohol content: 46%


Elegant yet complex, with a combination of spices, marzipan, vanilla and honey. Thanks to aging in small casks, this 10-year-old whiskey has an oily texture, giving it an older look and a long intense finish.


Tasting Notes

Aroma: Boiled pears and baked apples. Followed by honey and delicious sweet fudge.

Flavor: Medium bodied. A beautiful and rich whisky. vanilla and honey. Almost liqueur followed by a fruity zestiness.

Kavalan Single Malt, Ex-Bourbon Oak

Herkunft: Taiwan

Alcohol content: 46%


Opened in 2006 in Yilan, northeastern Taiwan, KAVALAN Distillery is Taiwan's first private whiskey distillery. Storage under Taiwan's subtropical climate plays a central role. Warm and high humidity ensure a faster ripening process, but also a very high annual angel's share, which makes long storage times almost impossible.

It matures in American first-fill bourbon casks, is non-chill filtered and is bottled at a full 46% vol.

Bouquet: powerful and balanced, tropical fruits, coconut, vanilla and oak

Taste: Flavors of vanilla, caramel, coconut and oak, fruity finish, soft and smooth.

GlenAllachie 15 years

Origin: Scotland

Der GLENALLACHIE 15 Years Single Malt, der 2019 in das Kernsortiment von GlenAllachie aufgenommen wurde, wurde vor der Abfüllung in Flaschen in Sherryfässern veredelt. Bei diesen Fässern handelte es sich um eine Kombination aus Puncheons und Hogsheads, die zuvor Pedro Ximénez und Oloroso Sherry enthielten.

Robert Burns, Single Malt

Origin: Scotland

Alcohol content: 43%


The Robert Burns Single Malt was bottled at a young age to commemorate the untimely death of Scottish writer Robert Burns, who died aged 37.


Tasting Notes

Aroma: Birne, Zedernholz und Spuren von Vanille.

Flavor: A hint of lemon. Wonderfully harmonious. Silky soft and mild.

Finish: medium length, very soft.

Penderyn Welsh Single Malt,

Herkunft: England

Alcohol content: 46%


The Penderyn Legend comes from the only distillery in Wales, which is also one of the smallest in the world. Located in the sleepy village of the same name at the foot of the Brecon Beacons mountain range, the Penderyn Distillery is known for its unusual single malt whiskey. Penderyn was chosen as the location for the distillery because of its proximity to the natural underground water reservoir at the Breacon Beakers. Penderyn's dragon-effigy Legend Edition is aged in bourbon casks for an unknown length of time before being given a Madeira cask finish.


Tasting Notes

Nose: Metallic grapey dark fruits, malty sweetness, brown sugar, light spice and hints of melon peel and leather.

A little dry and leathery, but the fruitiness hits hard but is balanced, giving it an inviting profile.

Palate: Metallic, grapey dark fruit, earthy (mushroomy), malty sweetness, brown sugar and some cinnamon and leather.

It's deeper and warmer than the aroma, but it feels a little disjointed like it hasn't fully grown together yet, but it's so damn close.

Finish: Grape-fruity, malty, brown sugar and a little citrus fruit end in a tart finish.

Westland, American Single Malt

Seattle-based Westland Distillery produces American single malts that honor tradition while offering something new and valuable. The climate in the Pacific Northwest is ideal for the production of single malt whiskey. Washington is home to two of the best barley growing regions in the world and the special water comes from the Cascade Mountains. The Westland American Single Malt Whiskey is the new flagship of the distillery.


Tasting Notes

Nose: Oak, banana malt, baking spice, vanilla, caramel, malty sweetness, nuts.

Warm and sweet, malty and slightly fruity.

Gaumen: Obstgartenfrucht, Eichenholz, Backgewürz, Vanille, Karamell und malzige Süße mit einem nussigen Bananenmalz-Shake.

Samtig warm und fruchtig mit einer malzigen Note.

Finish: Oak, malty and fruity flavors and caramel banana

Kentucky Owl Wiseman

Origin: Scotland

Tasting Notes:

Nose: caramel, dark stone fruit, but also cherry Kool-Aid; Baking spices, cinnamon, mild oak, light cocoa. Mild alcohol

Taste: Caramel, tea, apple juice, light sugar sweetness, later also some charcoal

Abgang: Schwarzer Tee, etwas Zimt; schwarzer Pfeffer mit Eiche und etwas Trockenheit; mäßiges Brennen. Mäßig langer Abgang.

Left Field Australian Whisky Starward

Herkunft: Australien

Alcohol content: 40%


This whiskey is unique in the Starward portfolio as it is aged in French oak casks. An easily accessible whiskey to enjoy neat or as a base for high-quality cocktails. Tropical fruits, red apples and fresh red berries.


Tasting Notes

Aroma: Pleasant first impression. An intense nose that is characterized by complexity. Dark grapes, juicy cherries and also aromas of red apple and fresh red berries are present. sweet and spicy.

Taste: The syrupy-sweet caramel in particular stands out. Definitely sweeter on the palate than on the nose, but the dark fruits can still be guessed in the background. Full-bodied, intense pleasure.

Finish: Delicate with soft tannins and a hint of ginger.

Did you know?

Scotland or Ireland?

To this day it is still being debated. The Irish claim that the Irish patron Saint Patrick, who Christianized the island, brought the art of distilling to the island from the Mediterranean countries.

Somit wäre der erste Whisky auf Irland destilliert und wohl auch konsumiert worden. Die Schotten halten mit einer Urkunde aus dem Jahr 1494 dagegen, auf der ein Verkauf von Gerste zur Whisky-Produktion verbrieft wurde. Ausserdem wurde Saint Patrick im römischen Britannien geboren, vermutlich auf heute schottischem Gebiet. Trotzdem scheint die Geschichtsforschung mittlerweile mehrheitlich der irischen Mönchstheorie recht zu geben.




Das Wort Whisky...

leitet sich vom gälischen "uisge beatha" und vom irischen "uisce beatha" ab und bedeutet «Wasser des Lebens». Die Engländer anglisierten dann das gälische Wort zu dem heute gebräuchlichen «Whisky», wobei man darunter nicht nur Whisky im heutigen Sinne verstand, sondern auch andere Brände. Aquavit also. Wasser des Lebens.


Barley... is where the traditional malt whiskey is made in Scotland. The Americans do it differently: They use a high proportion of corn. This is why American bourbon tastes much sweeter than the distillates from Scotland and Ireland.

Ohne Eis...

trinken Whisky-Kenner ihr Destillat. Eis verwässert das Getränk nicht nur unkontrolliert, wenn es schmilzt - durch die kalte Temperatur kommen die Aromen des Whiskys auch nicht mehr richtig zur Geltung. Wem sein Whisky zu stark ist, der verdünnt ihn mit reinem Quellwasser - tropfenweise, bis die richtige Trinkstärke erreicht ist.


Ein 100-jähriger Whisky...

wäre bedenkenlos zu trinken. Ungeöffnete Destillate verderben nicht. Sie werden nicht zu Essig wie Bier oder Wein. Somit ist der Inhalt einer ungeöffneten Flasche Whisky stets geniessbar


whiskey or whiskey? Both! It depends on the origin. The term whiskey is often used for Scottish whiskey while whiskey is used for distillates from other countries such as Ireland or the USA. In recent years, however, there have been increasing numbers of whiskeys from other countries that use the spelling “whisky” to emphasize their closeness to Scotch (e.g. whiskeys from Japan or Taiwan).

The right glass. So-called "nosing glasses" are sold at whiskey fairs and in specialist shops: bulbous glasses that taper towards the top edge. In the bulbous part, the whiskey aromas can develop well before they are concentrated again through the tapering glass as it rises.

Proof. The alcohol content of whiskey is not found on older bottles, or not only in % but in the proof unit. 70 British proofs correspond to an alcohol content of 40%. 100 British Proof corresponds to the alcohol content at which gunpowder soaked in whiskey burns blue.
