A special blend of rums from eight different countries: Barbados, Belize, El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, Brazil, Costa Rica, Honduras and Guyana. Some of these have been matured for up to 15 years. The secret lies in blending the different rums. The result is an inimitable, complex, soft and sweet rum to drink straight or for cocktails.

A masterpiece of blending. Dark amber in color. The scent is pronounced with vanilla, caramel and oak with cinnamon and roasted nuts and ripe, flambéed bananas. Complex, soft and harmonious on the palate with fine sweetness and spice. Long-lasting.

Rhum Agricole Fumeé Volcanique, Rhum J.M.

This Rhum Agricole is made from the pure fermented juice of sugar cane. The sugar cane comes from plantations located on the volcanic soil at the foot of Mont Pellé. So the Fumée Volcanique, as the name suggests, is more on the smoky side.

Der Charaktervolle J. M. Rhum Agricole Fumée Volcanique wird seinen Namen sehr gerecht. So ist ein Vergleich zu einen schottischen Single Malt mehr als gerechtfertigt. Der verhältnismässig hohe Alkoholgehalt tut sein Restliches wobei der Rum nie hochprozentig wirkt. Neben dem Rauch sind Aromen von gesalzenen Karamell, gebuttertem Popcorn, Vanille, Zimt und Dörrobst. Der Abgang ist langanhaltend und robust mit feinen rauchigem Aroma.

The highest quality product was initially distilled from molasses produced in sugar production. The Gold of Mauritius Rum is specially made from a blend of rums made from molasses and freshly pressed juice. The Solera 5 is a blend of various old reserves that have been matured using the Solera process. After blending, it is aged in port wine casks for another 6 - 8 months.

Mr. Rum, Macardo

The rum is fermented from sugar cane molasses sustainably grown by small farms in India and Nicaragua. Separately and with selected special yeasts, these are distilled over a wood fire. The rum is then matured in used whiskey casks. The blending of the two single-origin rums is based on a strictly guarded recipe.

Pineapples are peeled and cut into pieces by hand. The pulp is placed in Plantation Original Dark Rum for three months, the peel pieces in white Plantation 3 Stars for a week. The two macerates are distilled separately, then blended and left in barrel for three months.

Rum One Time Limited Edition 2011 9 yrs, Plantation

Only 24 casks were selected for the Plantation Vintage Rum Barbados One Time Limited Edition 2011. These were stored for 4 1/2 years in American ex-bourbon casks on the island of Barbados before they were shipped to the Cognac region where they were allowed to mature for another 4 1/2 years in Cognac Ferrand casks. Bottled at 51.1% vol. at cask strength. All barrels come from the West Indies Distillery in Barbados, which now belongs to Maison Ferrand.

The Dictador 12 years rum is an ultra premium rum from Colombia and probably the best known. Made from virgin sugar cane honey, distilled in pot still and column still. After distillation, the rum was aged in oak barrels in the Solera system for 12 years.
The product
Soft and round on the palate with notes of caramel, coffee and honey. The finish is complex, with light notes of oak and ends with a long-lasting finish.

The 1616 White Organic Rum belongs to the family of 1616 Black Editions. The handcrafted organic rum is a premium rum made from South American, organically grown sugar cane. The molasses is transported to the distillery for further processing. Then pure water and yeast are added to the molasses, which are converted into high-proof spirits through a double pot still distillation. Since the rum is not aged in the barrel, it is a white rum that is mainly used for mixing.
